Lights

As I was scrolling through my Tumblr, I came across Hajin Bae's piece "Way Home" [link], fell in love with it, and then "Fix You" by Coldplay instantly started playing in my head. So I was inspired to draw this as a visualization for the song's chorus!

There was also this idea in the back of my head to draw a broken heart with a typography vibe, and have the cracks filled in with the right words. That was early August. The idea of incorporating it with "Way Home" and "Fix You" came to me late August, but I didn't actually start drawing it until late November... And the coloring didn't happen until December. I am so delayed when it comes to art things. It's ridiculous. At least I get it done eventually. Hope you like it!

(Sorry if the coloration seems a bit bluish-green towards the center. I had to take a picture of this with my iPhone, and it does that for some reason. I will probably fix the darkness in the bottom half of the picture once I am with a scanner or Photoshop!)
